Back on the Beach
Nestled on a wide stretch of sandy beach, Back on the Beach Café offers appetizing meals featuring local and seasonal cuisine with breathtaking views of ocean, mountain, pier, and Catalina Island. Generations of Angelinos have been coming to our landmark restaurant since 1989. Both indoor & outdoor seating is available along with extensive catering services and event planning. Come and enjoy the beach with us!
Reservation Policy: We take reservations for groups of 6 or more people, and for indoor tables only. Outdoor tables are not reservable. Reservations are only taken in person or by telephone. Email reservation requests must be verbally confirmed.

Dogs: Santa Monica prohibits dogs on the beach. Additionally, the Annenberg Community Beach House site, which we are a part of, prohibits dogs, therefore dogs are not allowed in our outdoor dining areas. Service animals excepted.

We take reservations for groups of 2-12 people, for outdoor/indoor tables.
All reservations must be done at least a day and up to one month in advance.
( NO SAME DAY RESERVATIONS )
Reservations are primarily taken online through OpenTable.
